Be sure you remove all of your personal belongings. Be sure to check the trunk, glove box, and any other storage areas.
Remove your license plates from the car, once you no longer have the car you can take them to the DMV to cancel the car’s registration or transfer them to another car.
Keep your phone handy for the local dispatch company and tow truck driver who will be reaching out to you to confirm your pickup.
If you have a title from one of the following states, be sure to have a notarized and signed title for the car.
